Which US rare earth companies are owned by listed parents?

Arnold Magnetic Technologies is owned by Compass Diversified (NYSE: CODI), Lynas USA by Lynas Rare Earths (ASX: LYC) and eVAC Magnetics by VAC Group, which Energy Fuels has agreed to buy. ReElement is private with American Resources (Nasdaq: AREC) holding a minority stake.

Which rare earth companies are about to go public?

REEcycle agreed a business combination with Hall Chadwick Acquisition Corp on Jun 1, 2026 at an equity value of $400M, and the combined company is expected to list on Nasdaq. It needs shareholder approval and SEC registration before closing.

REEcycle recycles end-of-life NdFeB magnets with a process from the University of Houston and runs a demonstration plant in Oklahoma. The acquisition company holds about $207M in trust, and the combined company expects at least $40M of unrestricted cash at closing. The deal is pending and may not close.

Energy Fuels' pending purchase of VAC Group would bring eVAC Magnetics under a listed parent. See the ownership map.

Sources and verification

Each profile lists its sources, a confidence grade and a verification date. Order of authority: official records (SEC filings, agency documents), company documents and technical reports, research papers, then independent press. Syndicated copies and reference works are labeled and are never the only source for a number. Company-reported figures are labeled as such, and non-binding deals are labeled "letter of intent" or "conditional".
