How do I report a correction or a newer fact?

What to include

  1. The page address. The full address of the page, and the table or section if it is long.
  2. What the page says. Quote the sentence or the figure.
  3. What you believe is correct. Include the date the fact applies to.
  4. The document that shows it. A link or an attachment. Say which page or paragraph.

What happens after I report a correction?

The report is logged and checked against the document you sent and the original sources. A confirmed error is fixed within 48 hours and entered on the updates page, and you hear back either way.

  1. LoggedYour report is recorded with the page it concerns and the date it arrived.
  2. CheckedThe claim is checked against your document and against the original sources, not against a second summary.
  3. Fixed and loggedIf it is confirmed, the page is changed and an entry appears on the updates page with the date, the page, what changed and why.
  4. AnsweredYou are told what was done. If nothing changed, you are told why, and which source the page relies on.

What does the directory correct, and what does it not?

The directory corrects factual errors, out-of-date statuses, wrong dates and amounts, missing or broken sources and labels that mislead. It does not remove an accurate, sourced fact because it is unwelcome, change a grade on request or accept payment for a change.

Corrected

  • A wrong figure, date, name or status
  • A newer fact that replaces an older one
  • A missing source, or one that does not support the sentence
  • A label that misleads, such as a letter described as a loan
  • A project or company missing from the directory

Not changed

  • An accurate, sourced fact that a party would rather not see
  • A confidence grade, on request alone; grades follow the evidence
  • Anything in return for payment, sponsorship or a listing fee
  • The order of a table, which follows the data

Can a company ask for a change to its profile?

Yes, with a document. A company can send a filing or release that shows a fact is wrong or out of date, or its response to a matter described on its page. The page then updates the fact or adds the response, with its source.

If a company's account differs from a filing or an agency record, the page shows both and says which is which. A statement the company makes publicly is reported and labeled company-reported. The editorial policy explains how disputes are written about. To add a company or project that is missing, see get listed.

What corrections have been made?

16 published statements have been fixed as errors and are logged on the updates page with their dates.

  • Oct 7, 2026 · Update Silicon Ridge The confidence grade for Silicon Ridge is raised from Low-Medium, which the build counted as Low, to Medium. The page now cites Ionic's own releases from its site in place of the copies and wire links it could not open, and adds that the full technical report is not public, that the Dec 2025 and Jul 2026 releases give different drilling totals and that the Jul 2026 release calls the district about 12,000 acres.
  • Oct 7, 2026 · Update Ionic Mineral Technologies The confidence grade for Ionic Mineral Technologies is raised from Low-Medium, which the build counted as Low, to Medium. Its sources are now the company's own releases and the Utah state lease presentation, and the page adds that the plant is 74,000 sq ft in releases to Feb 2026 and about 85,000 sq ft in Jul 2026 and that the full technical report is not public.
  • Oct 7, 2026 · Correction Ionic Mineral Technologies The Ionic and Silicon Ridge pages said the company plans an IPO in 2027. They now say it is considering an IPO as early as 2027. The Citigroup engagement is now dated to the company's Dec 11, 2025 release, where the pages had it as Bloomberg's report of Feb 2026.
  • Oct 7, 2026 · Clarification REalloys The REalloys offtake for 15% of Tanbreez Phase 1 production is now dated May 18, 2026, the date written on the agreement, instead of May 2026 on the profile and May 21, 2026 on the page for US-listed companies with projects abroad. Both pages say it was announced on May 21 and give the other dates the companies use.
  • Oct 7, 2026 · Correction Government support Took the EXIM letter of interest to Critical Metals Corp (up to $120M, Tanbreez, Greenland) out of the tracker totals. The tracked total returns to $8.18B across 27 rows and the non-binding amount to $1.09B. The letter is listed apart as lapsed, and the data downloads carry it with the federal-total flag set to false.

Questions about corrections

How fast are corrections made?

A confirmed error is fixed within 48 hours of confirmation, and the change is logged on the updates page with its date, the page and the reason.

Do I need to send a document?

It is not required, but a document speeds things up. A filing, an agency release or a company release lets the directory confirm the fact against the original. Without one, the directory looks for the original itself.

Will the directory remove a fact because a company objects?

Not if it is accurate and sourced. The directory corrects errors and out-of-date facts, and it adds a company's response to a disputed matter. It does not remove an accurate, sourced fact because it is unwelcome.

Can I ask for a higher confidence grade?

A grade follows the evidence cited on the record. Send a primary document for a fact that lacks one and the grade can rise if the evidence then meets the minimum on the methodology page.
